Let’s be honest -olive oil is delicious, but the way it’s usually packaged? Not so great.
We’ve been thinking a lot about how to make Neolea better for everyday cooking and for the planet. Earth Day felt like a good time to talk about what we’re doing and why it matters.

Aluminum Bottles: Because the Earth Doesn’t Need More Glass or Plastic

Yep, we’re launching fully recyclable aluminum bottles.Why?

• Because aluminum is infinitely recyclable
• It’s light (less weight = fewer emissions when we ship it)
• It protects the olive oil better than glass
• And honestly, it just looks good

Is this going to save the planet? No. But is it a smarter way to bottle olive oil? We think so.

And Get This: Olive Trees Are Basically Nature’s Air Purifiers!
This blew our minds a little: Olive trees can live for thousands of years. They don’t need much water, they don’t need chemicals and they actually suck CO₂ out of the air.
According to the International Olive Council, one hectare of olive trees can absorb over 4 tons of CO₂ per year. That’s nature doing its thing and we’re just trying to follow its lead.

We’re Not Perfect. But We’re Trying. We’re not going to greenwash you with big “we’ve always been sustainable” claims. We haven’t. But we’re moving in the right direction, one good-looking, recyclable bottle at a time.
Same great olive oil. Just smarter packaging. Because eating well and doing better shouldn’t be a trade-off.
